Why not WordPress?

Speed, privacy, maintenance, security and cost: the numbers we measured, with their sources.

Measured, not promised

12× faster on mobile

Sankotek's WordPress site, and the same site after we moved it to our platform. Time until the main content appears on a phone:

Privacy

Who hears about it when a page loads?

Each third-party service learns the visitor's IP address and which page they opened. For privacy law, each one is a data transfer; for speed, another wait.

Old WordPress site: 5 third parties

  • Google Fonts
  • YouTube
  • code.jquery.com
  • Cloudflare Insights
  • CleanTalk

New site: 0 third parties

  • Fonts on our own server
  • Video is our own file, loads on click
  • Map loads only on request
  • Cookie-free visitor counter
Maintenance

Who keeps it updated?

In WordPress the core, the theme, the page builder and every plugin are updated separately. One update can break another; a plugin left behind leaves a door open.

WordPress

  • Core
  • Theme
  • Page builder
  • Plugin 1 … plugin N
  • PHP

Entegrali

  • One product, we do the updates
  • No plugins
  • No PHP required
Security

Attack surface: every plugin is another door

No plugins

No third-party code runs on the server; no risk from a forgotten plugin.

Two-factor authentication

Mandatory for administrator accounts; accounts lock after failed attempts.

Nightly backups

Database every night, files every week; downloadable from the panel.

To be fair

When should you stay on WordPress?

  • If your site depends on a specific plugin (e.g. bookings, memberships, LMS) with no equivalent.
  • If you run a large WooCommerce store: we don't migrate those today; we can talk about moving to Shopify.
  • If your own team runs WordPress well and the site is fast and up to date.

Not sure? Let's measure first and let the numbers talk.
